Massage Services

I use assessment and integrated modalities in your sessions to address your individual needs. High quality essential oils or other therapeutic application may be used if you have no allergies. I may use hot stones and sometimes cold stones in my massage session unless contraindicated. I will adjust the pressure to your preference unless medically contraindicated.

I have training in Oncology Massage to address the specific needs of clients who currently have or have a history of cancer. Oncology massage is gentle low impact massage but very beneficial for pain relief caused by the side effects of chemotherapy. Also care must be taken to avoid the potential of lymphadema when lymph nodes have been removed or damaged.

I use 100% pure jojoba oil (organic or pesticide free) in all of my massage sessions. Jojoba oil is very light, nonstaining and hypoallergenic.

For those who have a hard time with face cradles I do have the Boiance Face Rest Crescent cushion. It is the most comfortable face rest I have ever used. It doesn't put a lot of pressure on your sinuses and forehead like some face cradles do. I also have the BodyCushion to accommodate pregnant women allowing most to lie facedown even up to 9 months. I also have the wedge cushion allowing clients to lie in an inclined position for those who have a hard time lying flat on their back.

I always aim to work within your comfort level. For areas of pain my work is very detail oriented and thorough. So booking enough time is important.

I always strive to work within your comfort level to get you the results you want.

How much time do I need?

  • 45 Minutes is enough time to work one area well if you want focused work on an area of pain, such as feet for plantar fasciitis, neck pain, or low back pain.
  • 60 Minutes is good for a full body session with more general work. This is a good option if you are more focused on relieving general muscle tension and aren't focused as much on pain relief. However, many of my clients choose the 60 minute option for a thorough upper body massage (no legs) as well to address pain issues in the upper body.
  • 75 Minutes is best if you want a  general full body session but extra time and detail work in one area of pain or it is good to work 2-3 areas of pain thoroughly but may not be full body.
  • 90 Minutes is good for general full body and gives enough extra time for 1-2 areas of pain focus or 2-4 areas of pain focus depending on the amount of detail work involved and may not be full body.

Covid 19 Policy

You can rest assured that I sanitize the chairs, tables, wall near where clients undress and redress, stones and stone heater and rest room between every session. All linens are changed on the table including the fleece padding on the face cradle. The face cradle and the polyurethane liner is also sanitized that protects the heat pad and fleece underneath the sheets. I also sanitize the tea ball that hangs below the face cradle with essential oil in it.

For more detailed information see my Covid 19 page on this website. Your safety is my priority.

Cancellation Policy

The full session price is required if cancelled less than 24 hours before your session. However you can send someone in your place to avoid the cancellation fee. I recommend having a back up person in case you need to cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment. Please let me know if you are sending someone else, especially if they are a new client so we can get their health history form filled out before the session. If they do not show up you will be responsible to pay for the missed appointment.
